Today, the expression is used for something that cannot be done further, more, better. ​ Where the Pillars of Hercules stood, is still unknown. It stretches from Gibraltar to Ireland, telling us about the mythical and spiritual character of human life. Curious and unstoppable in a search of the unknown within itself, and the outer world. NoN Plus Ultra adventure started in Dalmatia inspired by the verses of the poem "Driti ka kolone" - strong & straight like pillars . And through the time it reached al the way beyond the Pillars of Hercules , to the mythical world of Plato Atlantis . Since then we lived through forgotten stories, inviting various artists to various places to make together a mirror storyland for the locals and inspirational portals for the globals. We embraced 21. century Odyssey through the soul "lenses". We started to create new emotional landscapes of an old place, as an act of genius revelation. Danas su svijetu „smart“ svega, iako poprilično mlad i dobro opskrbljen svim mogućim IT gadgetima, Lovro ne odustaje od magije kazališta i najpametnijeg uređaja ikad – knjige IRMA VICULA BULAJA Mlada je glazbenica, studentica Muzičke akademije u Zagrebu, violinistica, zaljubljenica u etno i jazz tonove. Članica je Orkestra mladih glazbenika i spiritus movens, violinistica i pjevačica BALKALARA - mladog benda koji svojom glazbom, razigranošću i entuzijazmom promoviraju ljepotu naše glazbene baštine . PAVLE KLADARIN studira kontrabas na muzičkoj akademiji u Zagrebu te sudjeluje u stvaranju zvuka u mnogim projektima i bendovima. Producira vlastitu muziku u solo projektu „Klaada“ , začetnik je BALKALAR benda u kojem svira kontrabas i pjeva, dio Freemental orkestra u kojem svira kontrabas i stvara elektroničke zvukove te je od nedavno dio live benda Nine Kraljić kao klavijaturist. IVANA LAPENDA je produžena ruka na ovom veselom putovanju i pomaže da vlak veselo i razigrano stigne do Priča iz davnine! Svakodnevno se usavršava u svojim vještinama u Laboratoriju Zabave u potrazi za nečim novim, drukčijim i originalnim u igri, druženju i radu s malima i velikima. TOMISLAV GOJAK Sve je lakše uz dobre asistente! Tomislav je produžena ruka na ovom veselom putovanju i brine se da svi uživaju u pričama na maksimum. about us awards press making off originals story concept highlights It is very interesting when you got the chance to realize your vision, at that moment you do understand that you are a visionary, and all before that moment you can’t really be sure about that, but you know it is going to lead to something big. Helena Bulaja Madunic @ Total - Croatia NEWS / "NIKOLA TESLA - MIND FROM THE FUTURE" 1/79 Back in 2005, literally on New Year’s Eve, I flew to New York and started the first research for my cross-media storytelling documentary project “Mechanical Figures Inspired by Tesla” … so it has been now a 14-year journey, and we have been all around the world filming and presenting our work in many places from New York to Tokyo and New Zealand … but the last 3 years have been spent fully devoted to recreating that work for and within this exhibition. And It was a challenge to see my vision coming true inside of the gallery spaces… I have to find the right balance and models of how to transform film, animation, illustration and other multimedia materials I collected over the years into this exhibition, that is actually one huge walk-through movie experience, an immersive interactive space installation that I like to call Film Fresco. It is very interesting when you got the chance to realize your vision, at that moment you do understand that you are a visionary, and all before that moment you can’t really be sure about that, but you know it is going to lead to something big. So the change from the original idea I had 13 years ago didn’t change at all, but every work, special work of artist or scientist is not "normal" work, it is a lifetime journey. So objectively speaking the idea and vision what this has to be didn’t change at all, but this 3 years of work on the exhibition put one culmination to changes that happened to me, my life and all involved in many ways, through all these years, as well as for new collaborators who came into the process for the exhibition. For the I would like to emphasize that process of working on 1st Madrid, and 1st Zagreb exhibition opened up fantastic co-production collaboration on the new 3D animated movie "Tesla - The Invention of a Dream" by Serbian director Branislav Brkić, that is for our installation transformed into an interactive Tesla theatre... " Cespregi Evelyn @ NÉPSZAVA - largest Hungarian daily newspaper / "NIKOLA TESLA - MIND FROM THE FUTURE" Exhibition STORY I n the main space of the gallery cross-media documentary film project: “MechanicalFigures_inspired by Tesla ” is transformed into FILM FRESCO - "walk through the movie" experience innovative immersive format, spreading on the walls, as well as through space, transforming the gallery's space into an experiential, Alice-in-Wonderland-like journey through Tesla’s mind . Creating an atmosphere of entering an imaginary world, as if we're inside of a pop-up book and film set at the same time, visitor literary walks through the 9 story chapters, transformed into the 9 “rooms”, depicted by multimedia interactive immersive space “illustrations”. Guided by Nikola Tesla as the main character, whose life intermingles with the events of the age, recreated through this exhibition setup, visitor is invited to search trhough the rooms for the various symbols, objects, numbers, and guides, which are holding the information and storyline that will help them to enjoy the journey, 9 story chapters / gallery rooms 1.
